Thai yoga massage is a healing approach combining acupressure and energy balancing techniques with deep stretching. It works on the body’s ‘energy lines’ and is a fantastic way of rebalancing the body and giving an overall sense of wellbeing.

The treatment is performed fully clothed on a special futon-type mat on the floor. The therapist uses their hands, elbows, feet and knees to stimulate pressure points and ease areas of tension. They will also work with the client to manipulate the body into a series of stretches – similar to yoga postures, and with same therapeutic benefits. Clients report a sense of calm and deep relaxation as well as release of tension and increased energy levels.

Thai yoga massage is traditionally a full-body treatment, and to experience the full benefits of this therapy, the recommended treatment time is 90 minutes. However, an ‘express’ 60-minute version, using a selection of the techniques, is available for those with limited time.
